If you have been clearing your In-tray, you are ready to take advantage of the New Project. If you haven’t been clearing your In-tray, the New Project is waiting to take advantage of you!
New Project: KARMA
(probably the most important project we have ever had...)
Project Comment:
If you have made good use of this project, you are in a position to take advantage of the follow-up project.
You can take advantage of the Causal aspect of Karma instead of being eternally (yes eternally) shunted along by the Effect aspect.
If you haven’t, if another project has just slid across the face of your computer, then you have slipped further back down the Snakes and Ladders board which is Life, through the intestines of another short snake.
The lower rows of the Snakes and Ladders board (from which you have emerged) are not places to linger in. They are generally engulfed in Thīna-Middha, Sloth and Torpor, and are very difficult to get out of.
If you make it a genuine new start, you get the best of the past as a bonus. A win/win opportunity.
New Project: EXEMPLARY BEHAVIOUR
In the wake of the recent terrorist attacks in England the blind reaction is to create more of the same 'karma': more violence, more killing, more fear... To understand karma and see the attacks as effects from something 'Britain' has done in the past (and is doing in the present) would initiate a wise response of stopping doing things now which create unwholesome results and acknowledging the error of unwholesome actions done in the past.
ReplyDeleteKarma is not understood or believed in by most humans in the West. Many refuse to understand or consider karma choosing to believe in nihilism at Death...
Skillfully using the universal law of 'Karma' is the most important key to Peace for humans in the world.
It is true and quite terribly so: People ignore karma and do not see the necessity to keep the five precepts.
ReplyDeleteYes; and those who are evil enough to attack others and kill in the name of religion do not really understand karma, either.
ReplyDeleteFollowing the recent General Election results the prime minister is being hounded savagely by the press. The same lady wanted to give parliament an opportunity to overturn the animal welfare act that banned the barbaric sport of fox hunting. She spoke with arrogance and hate to the opposition leader. Now she is getting a taste of what it must be like for the fox (or hare) that is relentlessly hunted by a pack of dogs. (And having her name smeared in public.)
